Figure 1 shows that to achieve compatible H2S reduction, Glyoxal is 1.4 times the treatment cost of BIG OX. Further, although comparable in treatment costs, Triazine is less effective at H2S reduction than BIG OX. Also demonstrated, BIG OX provides faster reaction times and superior sulfide and H2S reduction compared to potassium permanganate and Glyoxal.
