Knockout is intended to be utilized in water sprays circulations or water “boilout” applications — pre-flushing of packed towers, reboilers, and exchanger where pyrophorics are a concern.

Knockout is excellent for line cleaning and decontamination where residual hydrogen sulfide and hydrocarbon residues are present. It can be used at ambient temperature, up to 200 ºF.

It can be utilized to expedite vessel preparation, allowing faster entry. Eliminates the harsh wastewater characteristics of soda ash. It requires no mixing tank and requires less application time than soda ash.
